Audiological services offered include:

  • Basic hearing evaluations for all ages including pediatric hearing testing
  • Hearing screenings
  • Hearing aid evaluations
  • Hearing aid dispensing and follow-up
  • Assistive Listening Devices
  • Auditory Brainstem Response testing
  • Central Auditory Processing Testing
  • Aural Rehabilitation Services
  • Infant Hearing Screening
  • Speech Reading classes

Speech-Language services offered include Diagnosis and Treatment of:

  • Language Delay in children
  • Articulation Disorders
  • Phonological Disorders
  • Adult Language Disorders following CVA or TBI
  • Voice Disorders including post laryngectom
  • Stuttering
  • Group therapy for Preschool Stuttering, Preschool Language Delay and Aphasia
  • Videoendoscopy of the speech structures
  • Feeding and swallowing disorders
  • Augmentative and alternative communication

Who Provides Services?

Members of the clinical staff have a Masters degree or a Ph.D. in Speech Pathology and/or Audiology and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association and maintain State of Illinois licensure in Speech-Language Pathology and/or Audiology.

Students providing services are enrolled in the Masters of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology program at Illinois State University. The clinical staff provides direct supervision of all services.
